If you are starting your own fishing league or club, and want a home page online for FREE, then contact:

Doug Pirila, doug@duluthbass.org, phone (218) 390-9973.

We add a couple pages here and give you a public and members-only forums.  If you have a domain name, we help you connect it to your pages and you have a website that can be found for free.

If you prefer a full website of your own, Fishing Webmaster will sponsor your fishing league and get you setup with a site, like www.DuluthBass.org for the low price of $200/yr.  That covers the out of pocket costs and all the disk space and bandwidth you like.  Fishing Webmaster is sure that after you see how easy you make the changes to your pages you will pass that on to anyone looking for a website for business or personal use.

UAC BASS Club
Please stop by the Powerhouse Bar in Proctor to join us or just chat about fishing.  We meet the first Wednesday of every month, 7-8pm.  Many of us get there at 6pm and hang out until near 10pm.

Everyone is welcome.  We have an unformal meeting, but get the work done, then enjoy catching up on fishing stories and have a few drinks.  Miller Lite, Pepsi or whatever your choice.  Be safe and see you on Wednesday.

Our second year at the MN Bass Fed Tournament of Champions had us at Minnetonka and bringing 13 members. Now sporting our new club jerseys we're taking the part of a club, but still being the new guys we are the least experienced in the TOCs. We're getting there and made significant improvements, but we also have a ways to go.

Front (left to right): Kevin Gabrielson, Mike Lebsack, Doug Pirila, Sharaku Kishida.  Back: Jason Wefel, Rainer Raaska, Jeff Wefel, Derek Lofald, Matt Amos.

It was a great time and we'll have many more. Contact us if you are interested in joining us for some competition and fishing. doug@uacbass.com

THANKS to Rick at Miller Lite, Russ at Marine General, Dick and Cookie at the Powerhouse, and the Fishing Webmaster for sponsoring us and buying all our members our new Club jerseys. They're great and will get a lot of time on the water and in photos like these.

Everyone is invited to join us for our End of Year Party and Awards this Saturday, Aug 28th at 4:00pm at the Eagles Nest on Fish Lake.

All MMTS members past and present are also invited to come out for an optional fishing contest on Fish Lake from the dam from 9am to 1pm.  This is a multispecies event and will be $25/boat.  Our normal scoring system is being used.

See ya Saturday and good fishing.

UAC Big Bass Fishing League
Thanks everyone for the great turnout on Grand Lake. Sounds like everyone had a great time and good fish were caught.

First tonight went to Ed Forrestal from E&M Tackle, with a nice largie. The smallest bass was taken by Matt Amos.

We had 11 anglers in 4 boats, so we'll need more boats at Big Lake in order to get everyone out fishing. That's a great thing.

Thanks and good fishing.

Congratulations to everyone on a good season of fishing. As you can see by the final totals, everyone is getting better with the majority of the teams scoring over 500 points. (You used to be able to win with 300 points!) Good job to the Swingers and the Minno-Ette for passing the teams in front of them to close out the season. Congratulations to the Swingers for taking first place for the year and getting the Big Walleye Award for the night. The year end party is at Tony's. Directions: Follow Arrowhead to the UMD area. Go north on Dunedin for a block & take the first right and look for the cars about a block down on the turnaround. Call Tony at 348-0538 for more info. See you then! Sub fees=$5.

Can you believe that we are through Week #9 and heading into our final event? Next week is our last week and remember we will be starting at 5:15 and finishing at 8:30. The year end party will be the next night at Tony's house (same as last year) at 6:00 pm. You will need to bring something to throw on the grill and a side dish or dessert to share plus whatever you want to drink. Tonight was very warm and humid as we just beat the rain! Fishing was fairly good with the typical amounts of bass, pike, crappie, and bluegills caught. Congrats to the Grumpy Old Men who claimed the Big Bass award with a 17 3/4" fish! It seemed like more pike were caught and released in the protected slot than in the past years. See you next week! Sub fees collected=$5.

Both events look to have 20 plus teams, so sign up soon if you want in.

The Launchs are on the site now.  For Pokegama we will be launching from the Tioga Beach launch.  For the Wabana Lake event we'll be going out of the West ramp off of Cty Rd 335.

Thanks and see ya there.
