We'll be testing out some water this weekend.  So we'll let you know, but it's still very cold here.  And some lakes still have a lot of ice, so we'll see where we can go and if they are ready to go.

Was out for a few hrs just got back,I got 3 Largies and 7 crappies all were caught less then 4ft water.At least I found out that my batteries will need to be replaced, the ice as been off this lake for 4days if you believe that you need to wait till the water warms up into the 50,s you'll miss out on some of the best fishing of the season.

I guess your right let all stay at home and wait till walleye opens up.yesterday I couldnt get them to take a minnow but they hit the crappie candy just fine that was a 1st for me on the early bit and 1 came on a small crank.
