It's a pretty good lake but some find it tough to fish. Lots of water and structure and quite a variety to boot. This will sound like a broken record but docks, points, and reeds...all have produced fish. Haven't fished it this year yet though myself. There is a shallow sand bar straight out from the access and a bit to the left. It was still 3'-4' but if the water is down you may want to keep an eye out for it. Weeds should be grown up enough to make it visible.
For Ely if you take a right at the K&B drive-in and go straight through the first stop sign.....you will come to the access also.

Well everyone caught fish on Ely and Minne.Congrates to Catchin Bass with the win on Ely with a 2 pound average nice job guys.
Ely lake-Big fish winner Korpella/Day,7 teams managed to make it there all but 2 teams got there limit!
Minnie-Hawg Hunters won Big fish,only 1 team couldnt make it out that night but 9 others did all teamscaught fish.
I hope that all had fun fishing these lakes they are a little out of the way, maybe next year well put them in the schedule. Thanks guys for showing up and thanks Brian with the directions.
