Sorry for not posting the results at 9 on the nose!
Minnie is out near tamarack which is west of cromwell .take 53 south to 210 west at black bear casino then thru cromwell to tamarack take 6
north about 7or 8 miles to landing the landing is across from a bar Im not sure what the bars name is it may be grizzlys.
Ely go up 53 to evelth then a right to 37 this should take you to the landing . the landing is on the north side of the lake.
The drawing was Minne,Island north together and whitewater, colby, Island north,Sand,Ely.Minne and big hanging horn for splits.
If anyone has better directions than mine please post them.Remember there is no pre fishing tommarow any out on the lake before will not be given a score for that nite.
Twitch,
I'm pretty sure you mean 35 South to 210 west at the Casino. Have fun.
Are you talking of Growlers? That's right at the only DNR ramp on the lake and it's on the south side of the lake and that's where the directions have us. I have heard there are a lot of ramps on Minnewawa but the DNR info has all but this one as township ramps. And what about the winds of 15-25?
I'll be calling and talking to as many as I can. I wish I had seen it before and that I knew something about Ely Lake, to trade. Hey anyone that's been there, let me know. I did get a few pointers already, someone knows it well mentioned it must be at Growlers.. They fish bass there and said it is good, but the walleyes and crappies are awesome in the winter and late fall. Well back to the DNR map and info to make a game plan. I guess this means I'll have a lot of options in the boat and be testing them out. If I get lucky, I'll find a good bait early.
Good luck everyone. And Al, where we meeting? In Cromwell?
We have always used the access across from Sportsmans Bar....I think...on Minnewawa. It's just past Bans Bar on the right....if that's the one your talking about.
Those fishing Ely Lake.....use caution running acorss that lake especially if you head to the western portion of the lake! The humps come up VERY fast. Front of the boat can be almost touching land and the back of the boat will be in 18' of water.
Good luck guys!
Brian
I think that is the same place on Minnewawa. I know the directions I have been given match that. So what's the situation on that lake? Are the bass big? What's the best approach?
We are fishing anyway.
