Caribou yes,I like pike but the I feel that there is not all that much fishable water the bass seem to be in localized areas but a great lake for a few boats to beat up on bass!If anyone has a different opinion please let me know!Is the landing still pretty shallow still on pike?

I was out on Caribou about 2 weeks ago and the launch was really tough with my boat. I had the truck in past the bumper and the bottom of the boat was barely touching the water. Once I got in, the bass fishing was pretty good, but I would probably say that Caribou would fish pretty small for a tournament. It seems like there are only a few key spots. Like Pike Lake, this is a great little lake for a few boats to beat up on bass. Also, I wanted to let you know that I should be able to fish the rest of the tourneys. I started fishing the BFL great lakes division and the first two tourneys were the same weekends as the past two DABL tourneys. It looks like I don't have any more conflicts for the rest of the season so I look forward to getting out on Thursday evenings. Kurt Mazurek

Thanks Kurt.  I think the launch is the main concern.  There are a lot of other spots to fish bass on Caribou Lake.  They are every where from shallow to deep.  But there are lots of different techniques on Caribou and a lot of good fish too.  But I do think it is a little small.
