It's look like it this night will happen.  But we need to squeeze it before  the catch-n-release season kicks in.  I like the 6fish weigh in like we have been doing all year long.   I talked to Roger from the river rats a few times and picks some likely dates.  There is also the year end party as well and the holiday weekend.  So it looks like it might be a early afternoon river event during the weekday.  Early because of the daylight is shrinking fast.  I'm going to be sitting at the calendar and figure out some possible dates and post them here to see what people think.

Ouitdee,

How many teams are you going to allow for this event?  If you have room I can let the guys in our bass league know about it.  I am sure a few of them would be interested.

Brian,

I can't tell you for sure if there will be enough room.  I want to stay as close to possible to 15 teams.  I won't be to worried if we go over the 15 boat limit and don't think the DNR will care to much.  But I'll contact them to let them know that we could have a possible 15+ boats on this one night only.  But's it's only fair that I give the guys from DABL first chance at it and will have any teams interested in contacting me by email or phone to verify that they will be coming.

After I post the information about the night and start getting some feed back I'll have a better idea.  So after I get the details out on the forum, please be sure to pass the info along to your bass league and get them to contact me via email or phone.

I most likely will not turn away boats, so if we go over 15, so be it.  And like I said b4, the dnr will not be so worried during this time of the year and if we let them know.

Hope this anwers your question?

Ouitdee, that was the info I was looking for.  There will probably only one or two teams interested since its an afternoon event.  Most guys have not fished the river much, if at all, so they were mostly just interested in an excuse to get out and fish the river.  I will let you know what teams are interested in fishing and then you can just let me know if there is room.

Thanks,

Brian
