Sand Lake Results!

What a tough bunch of bass fisherman this group is.  We had to brave 10-20 mph winds, gusting over that as well.  Cloudy and cool weather on top of that.  Good job to everyone that participated.

Sportmans Connection proved once again that their maps do work :)  They took first place with a basket of 8lbs 11oz.  There was a 2 way tie between Kings of Bass and Catchin Bass with a 2lb 12oz largie for the big fish pot.  Good job to the teams.

I've update the results page for Sand Lake and the overall total for the league is update as well.  It's going to be a close one at the end.

Alright, our last night will be on the St. Louis River.  We are launching from Boy Scott Landing, which is in Gary New Duluth.  The start time is 5:30pm.

See everyone on the water and take easy on the smallmouth out there on river.

Flymaster,

How about another St. Louis River date, like maybe Sept. 7th. The catch and release rules don't start until Sept. 14th I think. The Sept. Smallie bite on the river can be awesome!!, 19-20 inchers are common and besides some of us aren't ready to give up the great competiton and fun we have on Thursday nights.

Roger,

I responded to your other post about have another SLR night.  I'm willing to do it.  But this would be an optional night and NOT counted towards the yearly league standings.  Basically a fun one night event on the SLR for any teams that are interested, open it to any anglers and teams that want to participate, not only the teams that have formed for DABL. Have an small pot for those teams that want to do it.  Let me know what you think RO, call me.

I like the idea and to open it to anyone that wants to fish it.

Great idea Roger..
