I caught no keepers either, but hope to change that around on the last night also.  We have been finding more and more smallies on the river and starting to get a better picture.  Tips - get out there, throw a senko to any rock, try lots of colors, remember we can use bait on the river.  Colors - bright, naturals, who knows?  locations - near wood, rock, deep water, Let me know when you find em..  Bait - crawlers, senkos, spinners, sucker minnows, top waters..  line - heavy, I use 20 spiderwire, great stuff.  Lures - senkos, slip bobbers, lindy rigs, spinners, top waters, jigs, plain hooks..  I bet your sweet potato would work, if you get it in front of a bass.  The key on the river is location, location, location..  Look for solid bottom, rocks..

See I am still fishing for a solid pattern too.  It will happen.

Good fishing, Mr. Twitch..

Hey Twitch,

Come on  up to the river. I'll take you out and we'll see what we can find. I know the river pretty well, just not exactly where all the Smallies are. My number is 715-392-1411. Just bring your rod and stuff. we'' use my boat. Oh ya,  bring that Twitch reel I want t try it out.

Roger

I have a lot of 20 lb spiderwire, bright yellow and moss green, if you want to spool up a reel or two to try it, just let me know.  What you do to stop it from slipping is first put a small piece of electrical tape on it, then wind it on.  That works for everyone I know.

Looked like you and Roger had a fun time and scared a lot of bass.  I hope you guys leave a few for the rest of us.
