Remember the bass league fishes Sturgeon Lake next Thursday July 13th. I got a chance to look around the lake, but picked a wrong day to do it. I went last Sunday, the Sunday right be the fourth and what a mad house that lake was, lots of people on the lake. We fished as much as we could, which wasn't much and mananged some scorable fish even with all the noise and waves. Doug P was out there with Al from Bass Xpress and they managed some bass as well. So the lake should be producing some fish for everyone next Thursday.
I will be showing up at the landing around 4:00 pm and cooking up some brats. I'll have buns and some condiments. If anyone want to show up at the landing a little earlier and have some brats before the big showdown, just show up before we start at 6:00.
All you largy guys are make me run for my money next week. I'm just shooting for 6 scorable fish by the end of the night. Good luck out there teams and give me a call on my cell at 518-590-1712 if you have any questions.

Had the boat out on Tonka tues morning for the 1st time since since Lac Suel.. Wished we had been in a tournament, the bass went nuts..

Tonka does sound aweful nice to fish, when you're not being run over by the big boats. Well off to catfish, lots to catch and do. I'll have three or four kids the whole time, now that makes it more work than you might expect. But fun. I'll report in when back.
