Doug,

Not sure I will be fishing the bass league now.  Got our first little one on the way and I am not sure I will have the time to fish two bass leagues.  We may put a team in and just have a few alternates but I have to talk to the other guys interested and see what their plans are.  I sent an email to all the guys in our weekend bass league and I know some of them were interested in your bass league.  I will send them another email and tell them to check in here for more info.

If anyone is interested, we had a weekend bass league last year and we will be doing it again this year.  No money involved, just a bunch of laid back fisherman.  We fish the Duluth area (with in an hour or so) once a month usually on Sundays mornings.  We may do it every 3 weeks or so this year.  Looks like we fish some of the same lakes the DABL will be fishing.

Later,

Brian

Ahh, your not going to show us the ways of the bass master.  Just kidding...

I hear ya on that one Brian, with the new child and all.  I'm expecting my second child this February and that why I'm not fishing the Monday night league and started the bass league.  My partner and I are not worrying about pre-fishing that much.  We are just going out to learn some new techniques and mostly to have fun!

I might interested in your Sunday league.  The problems with weekends is thats my time to get things done around the house and play with the kids.  Fishing with my son, wife and family are for weekends.  But I might be able to scrounge a Sunday or 2 for your league.  Let me talk it over with my partner.

Post your link to the info on your bass league Brian...

ouitdee,

My wife and I took 3rd in our bass league last year so we have a lot to learn .

We don't have a site to link to.  Last year we just had a meeting at Gander and figured out what lakes and dates that work for a majority of the teams.  Once we get the lakes and dates figued out I send an email to everyone and we go from there.  If anyone wants to be put on the mailing list for the weekend bass league send me an email and I will add you to the list. brian@anglerinsider.com

By the way, it was nice meeting you and a few others at the meeting at D's a while back.

Sorry to hear that Brian, I was looking forward to learning some more bass tricks.  Hey you can add me to your email list.  I might bring someone fishing some of those days.  That could be a lot of fun.

Well keep in touch and check in with us all you can.  We can talk fishing out here anytime.  If you want to you could add a thread for your fishing league too.  We could see how you all are doing and leave messages back and forth.  Maybe we could arrange a day on the water with both leagues.  That would be fun.

Good fishing and I hope it works out that you and some of the others from your league can make it out a day or two.  You are all welcome.

Doug,

Thanks, and I  will add you to the list.  Once we get things laid out for 2006 I will put up a post here.  Getting both leagues together would be fun.  There are a few lakes within an hour to an hour and a half that we could choose from.  We will to keep that in mind and talk about it once we get our schedule set up.

Later,

Brian
