On Thursday night, it was just me and I only had an hour and a half. On top of that, I forgot my bait at home, so I really didn't fish. Instead, I spent my time cruising around, going into some bays and marking some spots on the GPS.

Over the weekend, I only got out once, for a couple hours. When camping with family, it's really tough to sneak away! I managed to pull in one walleye, but Karl's boy pounded it by over 4 inches in Karl's boat! Then his boy caught a nice pike the next day. Maybe Karl needs to fish the multi-league with him instead of me!

Haven't tried the river for bass yet.  But my first cast of the year was a legal smallie.  So I am looking forward to it.

I pulled a super fat, 19inch largemouth out of the river while casting a spinner bait for muskies on Thursday.
