My favorite personally is a moss boss for the slop, and a zara spook or a green spinnerbait. no bass on them in the River but lots of action with pike it's just a matter of time.

I have the moss boss and have had great luck on it on Big Lake but not the river yet. Of course I don't use it there. But it should be a great slow bait in the slop. Yes it's a matter of time. Call me sometime when it's open and we can go swing for some largies. My only request is, it's a tough bite, so when I will show you, I would ask that you keep me posted when they go and the bite is on. They are there, but not in large numbers. But they are fun none the less and the numbers are growing and so is the average size.
