April 8th - Red Wing walleye and sauger fishing trip..

Margaritaville, myself and a couple others are heading to Red Wing on the April 8th weekend to slay some walleyes and saugers.  Anyone else interested or living down that way can get in on the action too.  At that time the walleyes are huge and fat going into spawn.  Ring worms are the ticket for the big walleyes and deep river vertical jigging for the saugers is awesome.  If you want to learn either of those two techniques, that's what we are there to do.

Good fishing and let's start the fishing and fun..

Doug-

Are you guys fishing Saturday and Sunday?  We will be down in the cities that weekend and I am debating on whether or not to get the boat out of storage and join you guys.

Yeah, I am leaving on Friday and fishing thru Sunday.  I may have my son and we already have a place lined up.  So if you get the boat out, be sure to give us a call and join us.  I think it is going to be great.  I just ordered a bunch of fishing gear for it and Team Patience is loaded too.  So let us know and we can make the eyes run and hide, or go for some deep saugers.  I love that bite.  Just give me a call 390-9973 or talk to Steve O.  It would be great if you can join us.

Hey Matt,

If you are down there and can get out for a while, just give us a call and we can pick you up at the landing if you can't fish all day or don't have the boat.  Talk soon.

I have never fished the river before but I would be very interested in going.

I am trying to see if the shop can get my motor serviced by then.

I don't fish for eyes very often. My largest is only 3lb 13oz.
