Just curious if I am the only on that see's this but the post times are always 2 hours behind. All the other sites I go to are right. But it seems like the forum time is set to Pacific time.

It is 2:01 central at the time of this post.

Yeah I hear ya.  We were looking for that, then worked on the speeds, but should get back there, now that things seem to be working good.  I'll look into it.

Alright, check it out now.  I made some changes and hope it is working for everyone now.

Thanks,  now on to preparing for fishing and finishing some websites.

Yes AquaJoe is correct on the time issue.  Some one not signed onto the site will see all times posted as Pacific time zone.  The server has no idea what time zone the current person viewing is in, that person could be in China for all we know.

The only way the website knows what time zone to display correctly is by that person signing onto multispecies.com.  You would also need to set your user setting (by clicking on your name in the upper right hand corner after you have signed in) and change your timezone settings.  If you change your time zone settings to central standard time and you are signed into the site, you will see all the post times displayed correctly.

So the moral of the story is, sign onto the site, make sure your timezone is set correctly and you will see all post times in whatever time zone you selected.

Hope that clears things up.  We are looking into how to make the site display centrail time zone as default.
