Did not know where to post this so move it if ya want. Hit Big Sandy Sun-Mon for tulieeis not great but not bad. If you have never fished for them you are missing out on some fun for a rough fish.

Hey Loadmaster,  Sounds like a lot of fun.  I know I would love to give them a shot.  Tulibees have a soft mouth right?  Wow, I didn't know they were over such deep water.

Hey you can place fishing reports any where out here.  Two other great spots for them is in the by species and under the rough fish area, or on the fishing reports for the nearest area.  Either way no place is a bad place.

Thanks.  Hey Load are you heading out again?  I would love to pick up a few.  Do you smoke them all or have you cooked them up before?  Smoked is the only way I have heard of people using tulibees.

I smoke them but the wife bakes them. Baked are not bad for the bigger ones you just have to make sure they are done cooking. The meat comes out flakey and white.

Heading out sunday and possibley mon if I can find a fishing partner.

They have soft lips sorta like a sucker/crappies mouth without the cartalage on the mouth. We should have had more, but lost 10-20 down below and another 10-20 at the hole. Switching over to fireline next time. When they fight they do alot of turning and you line seems to get cut on the bottom of the hole.>>>>later the load

I can get out fishing Load, just let me know.  I can switch a rod or two over to a good braided line too.  Does sound like a lot of fun.  Keep us posted.
