"BRAINERD, Minn. - Anglers are leaving tons of lead on the bottoms of the state's lakes, a few jig heads and sinkers at a time, according to a new study from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources."

Thanks for the read Webdude.
What are the alternatives for using lead? I know they make tungsten weights, but do they come in the variety that lead has out there?
I can't imagine what the lakes will be like in 20 years with all the lead down there.
Thanks again.
Wow, each tiny sinker adds up. I am sure that it is just a matter of time until we will have no choice but to use an alternative. But that'll be better for the loons, fish, and everyone. So as soon as they make it and make it what we need to use, we will all be switching.
Thanks for the good article WebDude.
