How's the fishing?

We've been out a few times lately.  The fish are grouped up and fishing can be awesome.  We've seen several bass over 20, big pike, and lots of fish.  Along with some slow areas.  Anyone been on Boulder?  I know that the fish are eating before the ice gets here.

How has your fishing been?

Well, down here what we call, "The Heart of the Lakes", fishing is great also.  Bass and Pike have been biting. I keep hearing the walleyes are biting, also. But, I haven't had much time to try for them.

My fishing basically came to a halt for bit--- I got sent back to the staduim today. I was only working until noon, today. Our project manager came to me at 11:45 and ask me if I was interested in some OT. So I will be working Sat. and  i might be working 8's, 9's or 10's next week. But I'm going to find more out tomorrow.

This will only leave me Sunday's to fish. But I will be out there that one day a week looking for them.

With MEA this week, My wife and kids will be heading up to Grand Rapids for the extra long weekend. I wish I could make the trip and do some fishing up there. So, i guess I'll have a little vacation at home all by myself.

We have to try and get sometype of fishing party this winter. I can get my buddy to set up the Military tent on the ice and we can all fish in that or use as a "base camp" and do some exploring. Doesn't have to be MilleLacs. Theres 1000's of lakes between here and there to have it on.

Well if that's "The Heart of the Lakes" then here in "the Head of the Lakes" it's still going strong.  And the walleyes are really getting at it.

I bet the OT will help with the bills and some new fishing lures.  I have been sheetrocking on the side a bit and that's getting my fishing lure inventory, much bigger, and it's not too small now.  But I am ready for some muskie fishing.

Do some fishing on your mini-vacation.

Sure let's find a good spot to just get out fishing.  I think the big tent and some ice fishing sounds great.  We're having one more bass tournament in a week on a small lake near here.  Everyone will be drifting the lake for bass and it's going to just go to whoever lands the one nice fish.  If you're free next weekend come on up for that.
