Someone told me to try out "the 133rd" and another said to fish "Arrowhead Flats" but I have no clue where either of them are! Can anyone help me out with this? I'll be fishing the river this weekend.

I am not 100% on the areas they are refering too as each group of people has their own way of identifying river locations.

That being said, I am fairly certain that 133rd, would be the stretch of  river on the Minnesota side of the islands between Water Street and the HWY 23 Bridge.

My guess is the term arrowhead flats is refering to the large flats located between Dwights Point and the swing bridge.

What area was that called next to your good big pike spot?

I don't have any good big pike spots on the river.  I have only caught one pike over 40 inches, and it was the only pike I have caught in what is generally a pretty good muskie spot.

I would guess you would have better luck fishing the industrial portions for the big pike as it is deeper and closer to cold water.

Muskie27 is right, there's a different set of names for many places on the river for many different groups of anglers.  I haven't heard those two used before, but I would guess with what Muskie27 said.

I know each of those areas are good for eyes right now, but then they are community holes and well known, even if by 10 different names.
