Heck- I'm thinking of declaring tomorrow a state holiday, so I can spend the day making sure I'm ready. Any bets for biggest walleye for the weekend????

I'll be on Fish and/or Island this weekend. Never done them for opener before but there's always a first. I have fished the river the opener for over 20 years now. So it's time to switch up. Not sure of the size of eyes but think a 18-24 is possible. On the river I'ld bet much higher, but not there, until next week.
We'll be after crappies more than eyes, and then some bass. Both Fish and Island open with bass open, the rest of the state isn't so it's a tuner for my new bass rod and reels. It should be a blast.
