I got this email from my co-worker and can't think of a good place off the
top of my head.

What do you guys think?

Jason,

My husband and I are planning a week trip to the North Shore this summer
(July).

Do you know of some good places to stay that would have cabins to rent? We
have stayed at Superior Shores Resort and another place up there for a
weekend but their prices are too expensive for a week's stay. Additionally,
we are hoping to find a place a little further inland where the cabin/resort
would be on a lake so everyone could go swimming and the boys could fish.

We would like to stay within an hour's drive from Duluth And again, respond
when you have a free moment.

Thanks, Ruth

Sully, Great to hear from you! Are you still in the Eau Claire area? If you still head up this way, you'll have to let us know and maybe we can get out fishing? I will ask around about the resort thing. Steve

Steve-

Still am in the Eau Claire area.  I probably won't be in Duluth to fish till opener.  We should hook up on the river that weekend.

I've been hitting Pool 4 quite a bit, even this winter, so if you want to get into a good walleye/sauger bite, look me up.

Hey Sully, several of us are planning on fishing Red Wing on the Apr 8th weekend. Are you interested in joining us for some more fishing?  You know how we are, fishing and more fishing.  I hope you can do it.  It is always great to hear from you, so keep in touch.  If you are in Duluth, definitely let us know, many of us are out all the time, so we could definitely get out and on some fish.

Sully, Roach and I are planning on meeting up with a friend of ours from Hudson (possibly) to fish on April 8th, and it sounds like there may be a few other northland boys making the trip, so if you are interested, let me know. I think I have your phone number somewhere... If not I will fire you an email as it gets closer and we can chat. If you have any suggestions on where some cheap lodging would be or where you would recommend staying, that woudl be great too.
