Good lake for guys fishing trip

Ok, here's the deal. Every year, the guys from my family go on a fishing trip. We've been all over northeastern Minnesota and we're looking for a prime 2008 location. I guess I'm looking for some input as to where to go. Requirements...
* Bigger lake with all species of fish. We're looking for the kind of place you can fish all day without hitting the same spot twice. Preferably a walleye lake, but would like to have an opportunity at some crappie for the fish fry and maybe the possibility to hook into some big pike. We like Vermilion, but we've been there a lot & we like adding new lakes to our resume.
* On the other hand, a couple of the boats will be 14 & 15 foot, so it shouldn't be like Mille Lacs or Lake of the Woods.
* Campground with space between sites. We'll be taking campers/motorhomes this year, so we'd like sites that have plenty of room. We don't want to be right next to someone, as it's the guys trip and sometimes we get a little roudy after a few sodas and some shots of espresso! We have a generator, so no need for electric. Federal campgrounds have worked well in the past.
* Within a couple hours of Duluth. I hate spending all day to get there and all day to get back. I want to get there & fish!
* Some place that's rustic and kind of remote. Although convenient for ice & bait, I'd rather not be within walking distance of the local convenience store.
So, any ideas? We'll probably be going mid June.

Voyageurs National Park. You can fish Kabetogama, Namakan, Crane, and even portage into Rainy if you really wanted to.

Good Luck in trying to find all those req. Within two hours of Duluth. Have you thought about WhiteFace. Do not know how you are going to find a rustic campsite while running a Generator. I would look toward Winne or up in that area. We always camp at Clubhouse near Marcel its rustic and the nearest town is 5 miles. There are some motor-homes in the campground but it is a bummer to hear their Gen running. We only use a tent. How about Northstar lake in the smae area. Good Luck

Have you checked out Reserve America??? You can find out any info about Fed campgrounds in the local area. It gives a description of the sites and shows the layout of the campground. You can also make reservation for a site that you want. It will tell you if that camp is available for the dates you want. I use this site everytime that I go camping at a Fed campground. When you show up your name is listed on the campsite with the number of days that you are going to be there. Its a great way to find out if you can get in somewhere. Been thru the mess of showing up at a campground only to find out they are full which is a bummer. Hope this helps

Thanks for the input.
The generator is more for charging batteries, maybe a couple hours during the day, no big thing. When we take motorhomes, we really don't spend any time in them, other than to sleep.
Whiteface did come up, as we haven't been there for probably 5-6 years.
