Doug,

Say, I just noticed something tonight browsing the site----- No fish recipe topic--- Cooking or Pickling. I'm a shorelunch guy, but always looking for new ways to cook that  catch of the day.

Sure thing.  Good topic too.  I was in a fishing book club, went to end it and return the book, but it was a recipe book and after browsing through it, I had to keep it.  Man there's a lot of recipes in there I am going to try.  Some that don't sound good at all, but there are some great ones.  I think the one I am looking forward to the most is the panfish chowder.  Wow that got me hungry.

I'll add it. I even have a recipe for Tullibees.  Yeah, tullies can be awesome, baked em.

Robbo, I agree with you, we need a recipe topic.

Twitch, I have to disagree with you. Although I love fried fish, sometimes I like to switch it up a bit. One of my favorite ways to cook fish is on the grill. You put the fillet in tinfoil with butter and lemon and whatever seasoning you desire. Mmmm, I'm getting kinda hungry, I wonder if I have any filets left in the freezer?

Alright Cooke, that does it.  NOW I am hungry...  Try grilling a brook trout, just gut it, wash it out, rub butter on it, then some garlic salt and place it on a grill.  It grills quick so watch it.  When it's done, the skin puts off easy and the meat is ohhhhh so perfect.  Yummmm..

I am starting to think this talking about delicious ways to make fish isn't a good idea..  I'll be hungry too often and eating a lot of fish..
