We managed a few nice slabs and a few smaller keepers. No tullies did not try for them, might be a bit to early.

We did manage to get into some nice size rock bass that were real clean.  After a bunch of ribbing, Lee decided to take a few home and see what they tasted like.  After mixing them in with the crappies, he said that he could not tell the difference in taste or texture. I wonder how many people have really tried them in the winter or are just going on what other people have said, boney, nasty tasting. hard to clean. He said that he would go fishing just for them if they were large enough and clean.

But then Ouitdee and Jeff siad the a Rock Bass is worth a $1000.00

Margaritvaville---- Maybe hitting Big Sandy this weekend. The lake is easy to get around no drifts, heaves, lots of ice 30-38". Let me know if you are interested. I have off Sun Mon Tues.  anybody else interested in making a road trip.?????

This weekend I am not able to go.  But if you are thinking of next weekend as well, let me know and I will make sure that I do not get otherwise scheduled with something else.

Don't be cleaning out my rock bass spot on Big Sandy.  We might need that 5'x5' area when I fish the Ultimate Angler Challenge on Big Sandy.  Those are some expensive rock bass you got there, they better taste good.
