Doug is in.. I'll make it, I need a fishing fix. Even if I just stand around and watch you guys catch fish.
Can we have a portal? Do we need an auger, or is this a contest that they drill the holes and you have to pick one? I'll plan on bringing everything unless I know different.
Thanks,..
The contest is open to any part of the lake, so i am assuming portables are allowed. Fish must be kept alive to be weighed in.
$10 button is good for tournament and to access the lake at Hunters Point. If you go on through a different resort, You will have to pay road fees there. I am in the process of getting a way to secure some buttons, so we don't drive there, just to find out they are sold out of buttons. I will update any info.
For those that would like to view more info on this tounament. Go to Hunters Point website (Just google Hunters Point Mille lacs)
On the left at the bottom you will see "forum" click on that and they have a thread started about the tournament.
Need more info let me know.

Sent notice of tournament out to WCFC yesterday. Got 3 for sure responses today.
I really, really hate do to this.
I am the official weigher for a fishing contest here, that in past years has been held on the last day of the Pike and Walleye season. Well I was informed last night, that they were moving the contest to the 16th. My brothers company is a sponsor for this event so I would hate to say I can't do it.
I apologize for not be able to make the Mille Lacs event, But I do invite you all to the contest we are having.
Where is it? Hey pike and walleye sounds interesting. Just post the details and lets see if we can make it.
Hey things come up, so don't sweat it.
I know, Just hated to do it for this event. I have not got the details yet. Just know its $5 bucks, 100% payout. Usually run it noon to 6 pm. This year it is on Lake Slyvia. Was held on Sugar Lake for years, but due to the Slot on Sugar they moved it to Slyvia.
Could be some big fish come from there.
I'll post details later, when I get them.
