Well we were going to do it and now it is starting.  We have fishing articles from local fishing guides, professional anglers and fishing experts.  We already have some great musky information from an author that has caught hundreds of muskies and over a hundred over 20 pounds.  Another author writes for Trout Unlimited and now will be posting his trout and fly fishing articles here.  Another group of fishing guides and pros will be posting soon, also.

Now we can learn even more about fishing from the experiences of the guides and pros.  That should make us better anglers and put us on the fast track.  Why learn the hard, slow way when you can learn for others that have already taken the time and trial and errors?  I am reading all this and more..

Our fishing articles are here:  Fishing Articles and also can be found under our home page and in the small box with shortcuts to important fishing information.

Or click here:  http://www.multispecies.com/MinnesotaFishingHOME/FishingArticles/tabid/857/Default.aspx

See you on the water and good luck fishing.

I for one, have read all of these articles and have fished with Joel Tinker.  He is an awesome muskie guide and is always looking for the 40 pounder.  What he releases most days, most people dream about catching once in a lifetime.  He has caught more 30 pound muskies than anyone I know.  And he books mostly on repeat business.  That says a lot to me.  Anyone that keeps using the same guide does it for a very good reason..  That guide knows his stuff and is good to share a boat with.  I know that is true.

I know that he loves catching muskies and trolling was an experience for me.  But Joel has it all figured out and the boat laid out for whatever technique you are going to use.  Just reading his articles you will learn a lot more about him and if you want a shot at a legal muskie and to learn how to catch them, then he is the muskie guide for the job.

Another great fishing resource has started sending us their fishing articles.  Larry Smith Outdoors from walleyeguide.com and wisconsinhuntingpreserve.com, who is an Outdoors TV Host, PWT Walleye Fishing Pro, and Full time Fishing Guide in the Lake Winnebago area of Wisconsin.  Larry has been Rookie of the Year in the PWT and Cabelas NAWA Walleye Tournament Series and has a lot of great fishing tips, tricks and techniques to share.  I hope you like his articles as I do.

Larry is regularly on many TV shows like Midwest Outdoors, Wisconsin's Woods and Waters, PWT shows, etc.  I does a weekly spot on a local TV station for fishing reports and Pro Pointers.  He is pro staff for many of the major tackle, marine and outdoors companies.

I hope you enjoy the new reading and fishing articles.  I know I will.

Theory of Musky Relativity... Never thought I would see the day when my beloved sport of fishing could be broken down mathematically. That was a fantastic article and really well written. My brother is a math Ph. D. but not much of a fisherman. I sent him the article and perhaps with him sending me formulas, I can significantly improve me fishing! Really like the articles section of the site. I look forward to reading much more! Joel Tinker sounds like a great guide and it seems it would be a very educational experience spending the day in the boat with him, (If nothing else to brush up on a little algebra or calculus) Keep 'em coming!
