Well we now have a Big Fish Pot. Please goto this page to see all the details and rules: Big Fish Pot. This adds an option that lets people fish for just those species like walleyes, northern pike, muskies, bass, and Lake Superior fish.
One thing that I really like about it, is that it allows us to give out plaques for the largest walleye, largest northern pike, largest muskie, largest bass (smallmouth or largemouth), and larest Lake Superior fish (trout or salmon). That is awesome. Of course, this is only for those that join it. And it only costs $50/yr. I am in. Who knows, we could get lucky and pull a big fish in one. This adds a lot more opportunities for everyone to put a plaque on their desk or wall. That's priceless...

That means eight more sets of plaques, plus money to three new positions. Sounds cool. A team could just target big fish and have a shot at it all. Of course the muskie guys are sharpening their hooks and respooling the fishing rods. We will have to keep a close eye on those big guns. The crappie guys are better off targeting the multispecies titles, then pick up big fish as they go.
I am sure we will target the multispecies, the crappies, and big fish plaques when we see a real bite going. I see us trying a few good walleye bites while we are near them.
This really does give all our teams more choices and options that are really cool. I hope everyone joins it. Who knows who is going to get these big fish. Personally I think we need a crappie pot.. Anyone interested??
