Any reccomendations? my son went and caught another 16 in. crappie to go with his 17 in.  so now i have two crappies to mount, and my guy doesn't do panfish he said the skin is two thin and wouldn't want to ruin them. Gave me a couple of names. But i'm curious if anyone knows anybody or has work done. I think college is going to be cheaper at this rate. Also told him no more keepers got to keep the breeders in the lake so he can catch fish next year.

Wow, that's doing great.  I had used Gordy Morris and he does a great job, but I think he retired.  I have my muskie at a taxidermist on the range, a mutual friend connected us.  I will ask around.

I had two smallies done up at Artistic Anglers in Duluth and I have a walleye being done in the next few months.  They have some really nice crappie and gill mounts up there!  They do some high quality skin and replica mounts....some of the best I have seen.  I'll see if I can find a link to a post I put up showing their mounts.

Here is the link to a bunch of their mounts.  There are some on Page 1 and more on Page 3  http://anglerinsider.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6808&highlight=Artistic

I have also seen their work, it's awesome.  They are a great choice.
