got out to the campground this weekend. and i find there is becoming a common trend in fishing with my son. He's kicking my arse. I find myself laying in bed sleepless and sucking my thumb.
we caught 45 nice crappies and my son catches his soon to be wall mount 17.5 in crappie along with another 16 in. of the 30 total we kept i think truthfully believe maybe 8 were mine. He is now the self proclaimed crappie king and me to aquire the title i must beat the 17.5 oh well he gets that one for a while.
before anyone jumps me on bag limit we are in wisconsin.

Its always nice to get out with the kids but when they give you a beating its even more enjoyable.Them sure are a nice bunch of crappies and that 17.5 is a nice fish anywhere great job and thanks for sharing and GOOD LUCK trying to get that title away from him!

Its awesome to see your son getting the bug and getting good at it. I agree with Twitch, if he's got a 17.5 inch crappie, that title is going to tough to take back. But a great thing to see your son into it.

Hey Cooke you get that new water cooler yet? Yea i wish we would of caught that 16 in. at the same time that would of made a nice mount with the 2 of them.( the 16 was caught in the morning) But he became dinner.
