cleaning a boat

if a guy you fish with askes you to sweep out his boat so you can go fishing would you do it.

my take on that is the owner of said boat, is in charge the maint. of  his boat. the guest is in charge of bait and things of that nature.

any one got a take on this debate.

I'd have to say it's up to the owner. And, it probably depends on the relationship between the owner and the guest. If I'm taking my mom out, I'd take care of everything. If I'm taking a friend out, I may expect them to buy the bait or beer. If I'm taking my brother-in-law out, who happens to be my MMTS fishing partner, I might ask him to wash the boat inside & out, then wash my truck if there's time!

In your case, if you just have to sweep out the boat, I'd say go for it. Especially if it relieves you of beer/bait duty!

If it gets you out fishing, it might be worth it.  Everyone has different views on it.  If you and your fishing partner work it out that way.  Go for it.
