Ultimate Angler Challenge Tournaments
 (United States)
QuoteReply

I am going to encourage everyone to consider fishing one or more of these tournaments.  I wish I could but I'll be helping run them.  So please bring me some big fish to score.  I'ld love to see them and put them online on our new website.

Our website is up and working.  So please check it out.  Ultimate Angler Challenge Series - www.ultimateanglerchallenge.com

We will be awarding the title of "Ultimate Angler" to the team that accumulates the most points over the series.  Hey who wouldn't want that title on the wall at the office or in the den?  I'ld love it.

We do hope some of our teams give this a try, we're sure you'll have a lot of fun.

Hey Doug,

This last weekend I was in the Cloquet Home Show and I talked with a Leane Borden, she is the Event Coordiator / Public Relations person for Big Sandy Lodge & Resort.  She is very interested in talking with you about the Ultimate Angler Challenge in August.  Her work number is 218-426-3333 and e-mail is LeaneB@BigSandyLodge.net.  She may be interested in sponsoring, and or, getting discount lodging.

Let me know how it turns out.

Mike

Thanks Grizz, I will certainly call her and see what they are interested in doing.  There does seem to be a bit of interest from that area about what we are doing.  So I am hoping that leads to a good bunch of sponsors for that event.

Thanks.

Great idea Doug, with my schedule this year over at Leech Lake I won't be joining a league due to time constraints but would still love to compete in a few nights. This might just be the ticket. I'll look into my schedule to see what nights we will be available. One way or another we'll see you on the water.

It would be awesome to get you guys out fishing.  Be sure to let us know if you get to prefish.  Al and I can't fish the event but we will be fishing the lake the day before to learn it anyway.  We want to know just what's there and get bit too.

So how is the Leech Lake job?  I bet you have it all dailed and everyone coming to see the mighty chef in action.  And thanks for the tips on birds and fish recipes, I have used them all and they were great.

I think Hill Lake, Swan Lake, and Big Sandy Lake are all closer than Duluth, so it would be great to see you on the water.
