I am in on the smelting Mr. SmeltMaster. Oh Yoda of the Smelt, just keep us posted. We will follow and bring buckets.. Anyone doubting only has to check out the pictures in the gallery. Last year was the best smelting I have seen in a long, LONG time. Thanks.
I was up on Murphy Lake this last Sunday....that was a treat! As you dudes said....landing was sloppy.....but after much debate, there was only one way we were getting out there to fish. Locked the magnum into 4 backed up......hit the gas and didn't stop! Got across the lake and made to the spot we were targeting! Dakota Power!!! All we found were friggin' perch!!! Anyway.....this is the time of the year you put your vehicle to the test.....the only time I ever get stuck in my truck is on the lake trying to get to my honey holes. So you have to shovel a bit if you get stuck.....big deal...we could all use the exercise. I urge you to truck your trucks, let them work for ya....give that snow hell and good luck!!
