Cool Loadmaster.  I hope you do forget those locations..  We don't want to show up to them and embarass you with a quick limit of big crappies, right in front of you and your fishing partner.  All kidding aside I am sure that the Crappie King is going to work to make those crappies smile for a camera a few nights this year.  I am glad you had fun and just let the water warm a little and try those spots again.  I am sure you will be happy.

Remember, there are no crappies..  close your eyes and repeat these words "There are not crappies in the river,  there are no crappies in the river"..   Ha ha

Hey Load

Would love to show you some other spots on a day that is a little warmer. I also think I need to change my name to the Northern King the way this year has gone so far. I have caught over 30 Northers over the past three weeks and  just two weeks ago they were still spawning. The water will warm up over the next couple of days and I think you will be able to find some Crappies in the locations I showed you last weekend. As for the day we were out just be glad it wasn't a league night. I will update the St.louis river fishing thread and the Minnesota fishing thread as things progress. Good luck I'll see you on the water this weekend.

Ed
