Yeah, Ray's Bait and Tackle is a good spot to pick up a few tips and bait for Rush Lake, East and West.  He sure has a few good fish stories about the about area too.  I know I can't wait to hear a few more muskie tales.

Well, the team of Pat and Ross pulled off the win on Rush Lake, the same guys that won the Island Lake Reservior tournament.  So now we have two teams that have repeated.  Looks like Big Sandy is the show down.

It was a beautiful day on Rush and Ray was a perfect host.  The panfish were just below the first break out of the shallows 5' to 7' and crappies a bit deeper, 10' to 12'.  Teams caught crappies, bluegills, perch and largemouth bass.  With the slot on pike it didn't pay to go after them.  In the end all teams were within 1 fish of the top.  But having the bonus for multispecies was the thing that pushed the winners over the top.  I'll post the pictures of the winners soon.

Hey gds, you guys are also welcome to fish the MMTS Classic here in Duluth Sept 9th (details are on our home page).  We'll have 6 ways to win and more than double your money and get plaques for winning.  We already have 15 teams that will fish here.  I hope you plan on fishing it.  If you do and want to prefish just give us a call.

I have the Rush Lake winners posted now.  You can check it out on our site.  www.ultimateanglerchallenge.com

We will be in McGregor tomorrow to get up some more posters.  If you know of anyone that might be interested in fishing please let them know.

We are giving away over a $1,000 cash at Big Sandy Lake.  So that's a big check for someone.  But the more anglers the bigger it gets.

I hope we see everyone there.
