Well the Ultimate Angler Challenge Series is officially off and running. Swan Lake had some great fishing, weather and people. We launched out of both Mr. Roberts Restaurant and the public launches.
The winners were Gary Shofner and Neal Troumbly with a three species bag including 3 nice pike and a limit of bluegills and perch. Second place went to Pat Day and Ross Korpela with a 5 species bag including a 26.5 inch dog fish. Third place went to Wally and Randy Helmbrecht with a nice three species bag.
Everyone was a great sport and had fun out fishing and said they would be doing more events.
Congratulations to everyone and especially Gary and Neal, see ya at Island Lake Reservior in Duluth in two weeks.
