Not to early for Kids Fishing

Anybody that wants to help out a youth group this summer by fishing with us???? Start getting some ideas together. Last year when we took Mentor Duluth out was a great time. Would like a little more lead time this year.

Lee(The Big Rods) friend had a idea- the days we take kids out fishing, some of the wife's/girlfriends/both, could come down for the day make some lunch, for the kids, and then have an afternoon of fishing with the teams better half. Not sure I said that right. Ya get the idea.

Doug has worked out some deal with M.G. and  rod dealers for some combos for the kids. Any questions about that ask Doug.

It was fun last year Except for Andrus and his crew of drivers and switch pullers, lure changers.

I'll help out as much as I can. I did the mentor Duluth thing and it was great seeing how excited the kids were to catch some fish. Even the boat ride was exciting for them!

We also did Take-A-Kid-Fishing at Hi-Banks, but took our own kids. I believe Northwoods Childrens Home puts that one on. Maybe we can get work with them and get some of our boats there. They had a lot of kids fishing off the docks.

Hey Load, I have a contact for a coordinator of all the kids groups in town.  They can get us some kids groups to go out.  I think you should see what days are best.  Be sure not to get past Aug 15th, too many of the guys are getting back in to the school work stuff by then and you lose a lot of the boaters.
