As you know our league fishes until the end of September. I am guessing that some of the teams will not want to do an event in October....at least that is what I have found from the hunter types in our league. Maybe have the teams qualify in 2008 and have the "classic" in June of 2009.....kind of like the Bassmasters Classic.
Do you have any contacts with the Twin Ports bass club....not even sure that is right name.

Is there a bass leauge or two in the Willow area? I will check with the Twin Ports club and see if they would be interested. We could even do a "Classic" early this year and take the winning teams from 2007. Or if you want to do one at the end of this year we could just take the current leaders from our league and have them fish it.....if you wanted to do one in September.
