Multispecies .com is glad to help organize and get kids out fishing.  If you represent a group of kids, especially those that don't get the opportunity to get out fishing much or ever, we want to help change that.  We want to introduce them to our favorite sport of fishing.

Contact us and we can work to set up a time and place, where we can provide the volunteers from our fishing league members and get your kids out fishing.

Last year we took out two separate groups of kids and everyone loved it.  They had a great time and no doubt made some great memories.  We want to say "Thanks" to the YWCA for their help and bringing the kids to our "Take a Kid Fishing Day" and help making it a Success.  Each kid felt the excitement of a fish on the line.

Our volunteers, who took time off work and came out to help teach the kids and get a fish on their fishing rods, had a great time too.

Last year our members volunteered fishing rods and reels for the kids.  Several members sat down cleaned, respooled and got the rods ready for the kids.  This year we have started early working on getting some new rods and reels to use when teaching kids how to fish.  Hopefully we will get enough to be able to give some to some lucky kids too.

Thanks again to our sponsors Marine General for the tackle, Fisherman's Corner for the bait and the Minnesota DNR MinnAqua coordinator, Sarah for the booklets, handouts and suggestions.

It is a good feeling sharing our passion for fishing with a new generation and seeing the smiles and excitement.

MMTS had plenty of volunteers Friday, August 18th to help take the Girl Power Group from the YWCA out fishing.  We had two boats taking small groups on the water, while others helped on the shore.  EVERY girl caught fish and had a lot of fun.

We had one to two big fish per person and a couple nice bass, including one largemouth bass measuring 19.25 inches.  Thanks to all that helped make this happen.  I am sure we made memories that won't be forgotten.  That's a great thing.

First I want to thank those that came out and volunteered.  This included Steve Ondrus, Aaron Hansen, Ed Forrestal, Ouitdee Carson, and my son Jonathan.  They did a great job.  Thanks Ed for bringing your boat.  Our boats made some memories I think they will be talking about for a while.

Thanks again for fishing rods and reels and helping prepare them.  And Thanks again to Marine General for the tackle and Fisherman's Corner for the bait.  Also Thanks to the Minnesota DNR MinnAqua coordinator, Sarah for the booklets, handouts and suggestions.

Thanks to all that helped make this happen.  Thanks for donating and loaning fishing rods and reels and helping prepare them.  This group included Ivan, Ed F., Matt P., Pat Cooke, Ouitdee and my son Jonathan.  We ended up with just enough fishing rods and reels for this group.

Thanks to Marine General for the tackle and Fisherman's Corner for the bait.  Also Thanks to the Minnesota DNR MinnAqua coordinator, Sarah for the booklets, handouts and suggestions.

Special Thanks to my son Jonathan and Ouitdee, the FlyMaster for showing and helping us share some time fishing the kids.  And Thanks to the YWCA staff for giving us this opportunity.

It is a good feeling sharing our passion for fishing with a new generation and seeing the smiles and excitement.
