I know there is a lot of fishing leagues in the area. But I am thinking of starting a bass only league on Monday or Tuesday nights in 2009. Would be $10/night a boat, teams of 2, 5 fish limit.  Points determined by length. Payout to 1st, 2nd and big bass each night. League would run from week after opener to end of Aug. or early Sep.  I want to keep it close to Monticello.  I was thinking of the following lakes;  Briggs Chain, Eagle, Elk, Pelican, Maple, Polaski, Clearwater, Beebe, Sugar, Cedar.   Nothing is set in stone, just want to see what kind of interest I could get. I would also look at having a Sat. Tournament on Pelican, $20 a team. Let me know if interested. Lots of winter to think about it.  I will post more in March/April.

Is there any ice fishing tournaments in the area planned for this winter?
