Fishing has been OK in the Annandale Area. Getting a few Crappies in 50 FOW. Suspended at anywhere from 20'-35' FOW.
Catching anywhere between 9"- 11" Crappies. Demon Jigging Spoon, tipped with either a Crappie Head/Tail or a Waxworm.
Best bite times are 7:30-9:00am and 3:30-5:00pm. You will however pick up some occassional fish during the day.
Have also picked up a few 8 1/2" Bluegills.
School of fish will come in-- Work the top portion of the school, seems to be the biter's. You will also mark fish at the bottom-From 40-50', don't even dropped down there, it's only perch and they won't go back down the hole.("Trust Me") I wouldn't drop down and try for anything below 35' - those fish just don't seem to be feeding.
What I found was, the higher they are the hungrier they are.
