Had the house in the same spot since it went out. I have moved to a different lake now though.  Kids want a little more action, so were going to try get some pike on tip-ups, and try for a few Crappies and BlueGills. I sat in it for a few hrs. yesterday, managed to pick up a couple Pike, jigging a pimple.

Were waiting to get enough fish to have a nice fish fry.  Hopefully this weekend, we can have it during the Vikes game. But it sounds like it may be Blacked out in this area.  Can't believe a Vikings Playoff game being blacked out. But with the economy the way it is who can afford $30-$300 for a ticket.

Moved the house again today.  Moved to a spot that year after year, has produce some panfish for me and the kids in the summertime. Have not tried it in the wintertime before today.  I knew there was some good standing weeds there this fall so thought maybe i would give it a try today.

Went by my H2Oc and set the house the house in just over  10 FOW. Started marking fish right away. They would come up to whatever bait i had down right away, but would not bite.  Everytime a fish came in and didn't bite, I switched bait right away.  When they came in again and didn't bite, I switched lures right away. I went through this process, I bet 10-times before I got the right stuff down to them. Has soon as I but down a demon with treble hook  and 2 waxes, they started smacking it.  I caught maybe 15 bluegills from 3:45-4:30.   Never marked a fish from 4:30-5:00.   I was able to put 6 of the bluegills in the pail to add to the fish fry tomorrow.  YES, There will be a fishfry tomorrow- VIKES GAME SOLD OUT.

There not huge bluegills, But big enough to  make a meal.   A little sorting needed.   Hopefully they bite again tomorrow. And- The Crappies should be around there too.
