I am glad to see the number of fishing leagues and fishing clubs in our area growing. This is getting more people involved in fishing and gives every angler many choices. Hopefully there's at least one league that fits any angler looking to join a fishing league. Some love to fish only walleyes, bass, some multispecies, some only certain big fish, etc. I hope everyone finds a fishing league that fits them.
Here's a list of the fishing leagues and fishing clubs that I know of:
- Our multi-species group: MMTS, Minnesota Multispecies Tournament Series, Mondays, and 13 nights a year. The only "True Multispecies Fishing League". Most game fish species, big fish, pannies and more. No limit on teams.
- UAC BASS Club: The only Official Bassmasters Fishing Club in NE Minnesota. If you want a chance at fishing in the Minnesota Bass Federation's Tournament of Champions, then this is the one for you.
- Our Big Bass Fishing League: UAC Big Bass Fishing League, one big bass, prizes for the biggest bass and smallest bass.
- Twin Ports Bass Masters - Boater/NonBoater. Weekend tournaments. Check out their website: www.TwinPortsBassMasters.com
- Duluth Area Bass Club, bass only, 7-10 Saturdays. Limited to 12 teams. Talk to Brian. Post he'll see it.
- The Duluth Area Fishing League, multi-species, Thursdays, and 10 nights a year. Invite only. Multispecies, Big Fish and Pannies. 12 teams.
- Bass group: DABL, Duluth Area Bass League, every other Thursday, 10 days/yr. Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass Only! 15 team limit.
- The group out of Fisherman's Corner, walleyes only and run on Thursdays. Show, pay and fish! No limit on number of teams.
- A Minnesota Power fishing league, that I believe is multi-species, big fish only, I believe.
- A small multi-species group out of the Powerhouse in Proctor. Smaller family type. Sounds like a fun group. No pannies, I believe. 15 team limit.
- A small bass group that started from Fishing Minnesota, some of who may fish our bass group also. Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass Only! 15 team limit.
- Reel Fishing League, out of Marine General. Big Fish only (Northern Pike, Bass, Muskie, Walleye, Trout and Salmon) and run on Mondays. 12 nights, I believe. 6 species only. 15 team limit.
Does anyone know of any others? I am just curious and think it is AWESOME to see so many people involved in fishing on a regular basis.

Man I just didn't look for it, assumed it was there. I'll have it fixed asap. Glad you're keeping track. Throw us a post now and then to let us know what's happening.
I am even a sponsor, but think that's over looked. Right?

Hey, that's right, Rick does come around some, he's just a little quiet. I am not sure I can call Jim quiet, except when it's posting. He certainly reads out here. If we had more things to read and current, they might come around. We keep our info here and it's easier than all the phone calls when fishing.
